Challenge:

Jamieson wanted a workplace that supported its business goals and presented a strong Canadian identity in the pharmaceutical market. This project involved a relocation, amalgamation and expansion.

Solution:

The Element Group�s design development included expansion pre-planning to ensure a high degree of flexibility as well as to minimize future restructuring. Offices with glazed components were placed next to the central core of the building, while workstations were oriented to maximize shared natural light. The elevator lobby and reception area depict a clean, lab-like environment with an exotic garden to represent the rain forest � the source for so many pharmaceutical products.
